A little pay day haul.

 Payday was on Thursday for me, and i always feel the need to go on my monthly trip to superdrug to get my usual foundation etc. but also see what else i can buy to give a little try and i always end up spending crazy amounts. Anyone else do this? But in all fairness i only went in for my go to foundation but hey! 

Superdrug had a bit of a 3 for 2 going on and some save £2.00 on some products which just always entices me even more!

 First thing i picked up was the Rimmel wake me up foundation it was on offer for £5.99 when it's usually £8.99 so i picked up two, this is my go to foundation since the day Rimmel launched it i think i'd cry if they ever discontinued it. Iv tried many drugstore foundations and haven't really found the perfect one so always go back to this one it gives beautiful coverage lasts ages without touchups and have really good colour range. As you an see im 010 the lightest shade possible but its so perfect! i love it and highly recommend it

Now on to the newbies, i picked up the babyskin primer, Lash sensational and the nude palette all by Maybelline. its not often i use a primer, its more of a go to thing when im going out somewhere important but iv had my eye on the babyskin primer for some time now so thought id give it ago, and so far so good its silicone based but its lightweight and goes perfect under my foundation!  the primer retails at £7.99

On to the mascara it wasn't a case of i needed a new one but i want to try a drugstore one as iv been using Benefit they're real mascara and a mascara by bare minerals so fancied a change, and the price difference is crazy. I don't really have long lashes but this mascara makes me look like i do and if im honest i can see this being a new fav! this retails at £5.99

Now finally on to the nude palette i saw this advertised a few weeks ago and generally said ' i wont bother' but saw it in store and thought why not! It's very similar to the naked 2 palette and alot cheaper, It's your typical drug store packaging but seems quite sturdy and the colours are gorgeous regardless of being a dupe, its definitely one to have in your makeup bag i can see me replacing my naked 2 for this! this retails at £9.99

All in all i only spent about £32.00 which isnt actually at all bad! What have you guys bought recently ? comment down below as id love to know! 

Lets get right in to it..

so this must be about my millionth attempt at blogging but iv recently thought to myself 'you know what?' I'm going to actually try stick at it this time!'

 i already have a youtube channel which iv been doing for some quite time now which is based around mental health, which you can check out here - www.youtube.com/aamylouux and i guess i just want to start writing about more than just mental health so why not.

my aim of this blog is to talk about mental health but also talk about the things i love and the things i love doing etc. like beauty hair and home life.

whoever may be reading this may be wondering why iv called my blog ' young and free ' and to be honest i just like the name but at the same time i am young, As im only 20 and im also free from everything bad that has happened to me within my life which i will explain in a later blog post so i feel its quite fitting.

i look forward to sharing things with people and i hope whoever may be reading this will also enjoy the content that i will slowly be writing.
